When I last posted I was in a hurry and failed to post my favorite of the professional pictures. Also, there is a great story behind them. ... Saturday night we were at the mall. As we were walking through the mall to leave we past a little kid photography place. The lady at the booth stopped us by asking if we had been there before. We said no and kept inching on our way when she asked if we would like an 8x10 no strings attached. No strings attached? Really? She said it would take about 20 minutes. My thoughts were hesitant. For one thing Lexi was wearing a very casual jumper thing that's a little big. She just got a new bruise on her forehead, she needed a diaper change, it was way past bedtime and my biggest problem... no headband. The lady piped up and said she had a white headband. We decided to do it. The headband covered the bruise pretty well and I changed Lexi's diaper before we got started. Now our biggest concern was that she might not cooperate because it was so late. She loved it. There was so much to see. Plus the lady had a squeaky toy and a soft duster to tickle Lexi's face. She laughed and laughed and fell over once. It ended up being lots of fun for all of us. We got a free 8x10 and access to the other pictures to use online. Also when her birthday rolls around we'll get to do it again!

How funny! Couldn't have planned it to work out so well! And if you had planned it, it probably WOULDN'T have worked out! How nice that you have the digital copies!

Dahle's We have found you! We went through the Mikesells blog. We just started the blogging life (http://creamof.blogspot.com) and we are so glad many friends have them too. You have such a beautiful girl and I think the last time I saw you Monette was in Broulims right before she was born. Wow time flies. You're going to make me try to remember how this connection works! I'll see if I can remember what my cousin said. It's kind of a down the line type of thing. My cousin is Jenn Fox and lives near Seattle. But I believe my cousin said her neighbor/good friend (Crystal) is sisters (or friends) to Kate (Chads wife). And Chad's Marks brother, right? Did you catch all that? And if I'm wrong, which I could be, maybe someone can correct me! But my cousin had a link on her blog to the "Dahle family" and I thought that can't be too common of a last name so I clicked on it out of curiousity and it went to Kate and Chads site and then off of theirs I found yours. So thanks for letting me snoop on your blog, Kate!
