State Champions!

Mark's younger brother Andrew is a senior at Fruitland High School. He has been on the varsity basketball team since he was a freshman. They have gone to state the past 6 years in a row. Last Friday they played against Shelley. The teams were ranked one and two in the 3A division. It was such an intense game!! We were able to watch most of it on the internet. They were tied with 5 seconds left in the game when my brother-in-law stole the ball. With 2 seconds left he was fouled on the shot. He missed the first free throw.... We were totally freaking out.... He swished the second free throw and we were ahead by one point. Shelley's inbound pass was stolen by Fruitland. We won 49-48. We were able to go to Boise to see their final game in the state championship. They played against Kimberly. We won 68-51. Go Fruitland Grizzlies!

Andrew was interviewed by a news station because he was the team captain.
