Here is the front of the house. (obviously)
I'm taking this picture from the gate we park by. We mostly use this side or back door. (The black thing by the house is a broken Nodic Track. Mark is going to try to fix. In case you were wondering.)
Living area. My project this week is to make curtains for this window. However, the blankets are lovely. Don't you think? Mark is fixing that random computer sitting there. It won't be there forever.
If you walk in the front door and look straight ahead you see this archway. To the right is our room and the left is the kid's room.
Our room.
Isaac's crib.
Lexi's little bed.
On the wall on this side of the room I'm going to hang ALEXIS (the name, not my daughter) if you remember from a post long ago. I think I'm going to do one for Isaac too. We'll see.
Coming out of the kids room. We're thinking about selling this glider...
This is the toy corner. Someday I'd love to have a play room. Wouldn't that be nice?
Kitchen table.
A look back from the kitchen doorway. (not sure why the picture is glowing on the left)
The fridge.
My kitchen. It's feels very open. There's not much more counter space than our last apartment had but it's better. Notice the curtains. I made them all by myself! I'm not a seamstress by any means. This was a big deal for me.
On the other side of the microwave is the...
Bathroom. If you turn right when you go through the door there is lots of cupboard space and a door that goes to the kid's room. We just pretend it doens't exist.
Lexi insisted she have a picture taken of her. If you open this door...
You see this. This is where we drop our shoes and keep our outdoor stuff. If you take a sharp right at the bottom of those two steps you'll head downstairs.
If you pause and look out the back (side) door on your way down here's what you'll see. Notice Lexi's tree swing. She loves it!
I debated about putting any pictures of the basement but here's a peek.
It's actually a little larger than it looks but it's also pretty messy... We have a whole room down here for storage and also a little food storage room.
A bit messy but you get the idea. We look forward to running down here on the hot summer days and chilling. Mark was excited to hang his speakers up on the walls.
Well, there you have it! This is "our" first house. (We're still renters for now.) Nothing to complain about especially at the price we're paying. We love living here.

Your first house is always wonderful! I love it! I need to make some curtains too when I get around to it. Maybe you can help me ;) Beautiful house!
Congrats that is very exciting to have your first home. Many a meomory will be made there.
I'm happy for you that you have a home, it's very cute.
Thanks! It was fun to get a tour of your place. You don't share walls! And the place sits so independently! How perfect! And I love that you have two living areas. After a quick peak at your toys, I am sure my boys would love to spend the afternoon there!
Your curtains are so cool! Way to go!
Super cute house! (where is it at, by the way??) Oh, and I love your curtains! I'm seriously impressed!
What a charming home you have made! I love your curtains (and am jealous of the window in your kitchen, we don't have one). You are quite the seamstress in my mind. Enjoy having more space and no wall neighbors! Congrats to you all.
Yeah for pictures! I love being able to see it. We still want to come over and party!
It looks like you have found spots for everything! Best of luck keeping it that way!
Yay! Thanks for sharing with us! I love that you've been able to get your own home and make it yours. Congratulations! It looks great!
