New Addition

(Sept. 11) Last Saturday, we brought home a new addition to our household. No, our baby was not born 7 weeks early, thank goodness. This addition is also 40 inches long. Much longer than any newborn I've ever heard of.

If you know Mark or even just follow my blog you know my hubby LOVES to win. He's always entering drawings and calling in on the radio. For the past few years we've been going to a furniture store that has a tailgate party every year and gives away a big screen TV. They always do drawings for a handful of smaller prizes and we always win something: golf balls, Chargers coat (that doesn't fit either of us, bummer), Broncos sweatshirt, football throw blanket, free Coldstone, a pizza... Last Year, because he dressed up, he won a trip to Lagoon and a nights stay in Salt Lake. Not too shabby. This year, however, was even better. HE WON THE BIG SCREEN! It is a shiny black Toshiba 40" HD LCD TV. (That's all I know about it.)

Of course the only year I didn't bring the camera was the only time I actually wanted it. Here's a terrible cell phone picture of the happy winner.

We figured our odds weren't a good this year because we didn't sign up everyday possible like we have in the past. (We heard about it late) This TV was smaller than in years past. We found it a little ironic that with worse odds this was the year we won. Not that there are any complaints here! Mark is just one lucky man!!! (Mostly because I'm his wife, but the TV is nice too)

The kids thought it was pretty cool that we won and got to take the big TV home. They love how crisp and clear PBS is now. Haha just kidding. They do like it though.
