Super Saturday

Here are my projects from Super Saturday. I'm not very good with crafts but I had fun and felt creative making these.
After doing the "spooky" one I learned they had some Mod Podge there. I'd never used it before. I had someone give me the rundown and I used it for the "harvest" one. Now I'm wishing I had known about it sooner and used it on the first one too. I'm afraid "spooky" won't last as long because the paper is just glued on but I'm afraid of ruining it if I tried to Mod Podge it now. I was told it will look bubbly. Which might be ok since it's a Halloween decoration. What do you think? Will it Mod Podge well over ribbon? I'm afraid of ripping the paper if I took off the spiders, bow and googly eyes... Any suggestions?

For anyone interested in a baby update: At my appointment last Friday I was dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced. Nothing really exciting is happening though. I've had Braxton Hicks but nothing real. I'm due in 3 days but don't really expect to see this baby until next week. And even then I'm not sure... I'm crossing fingers that she'll decide to come on her own before I have to be induced. My midwife will not let me go to 42 weeks like I did with Isaac. (which is understandable because he was ginormous!) I'm betting the farthest I can push an inducement would be the 8th or 9th, maybe. Hopefully, inducement won't even need to be discussed and she'll come soon... Alexis was only one day late. Maybe this baby will follow in her big sister's foot steps. I hate all the variables, unknowns and anticipation of the last few weeks of pregnancy. You just can't plan ahead very well. Whatever happens she'll be here before we know it!

I would say just mod podge the Spooky. Just do it very lightly with a sponge brush and I think it would be fine. They are both very cute and worth keeping for awhile!

Your crafts look so cute. I usually make something then just hang onto it and never really use it. Those two are both ones I would love to have around my house. I hope your baby comes soon. I can't imagine having such a big baby. I guess the race is on. Just kidding. I am still betting mine is going to still take her time. I have heard any day now for way too long :)

I love them! What fun decorations! Do you put them on the piano?

I think you could ModPodge over the flat ribbons, but not the bow or the spider. I would put a couple of coats on so they can't peel.

Love the crafts! Super cute! I'd take off the spider and bow to modge podge also, but that's just me. Good luck with the next week, here's to hoping she comes on her own VERY SOON! :)
