Last Sunday night Mark went to put Lexi to bed and she laid down on the little mattress on the floor. He asked her if she wanted to sleep there and she just stayed there. He thought why not give it a try. About an hour and 1/2 later she woke up crying. She had fallen off the mattress. I then put her into her crib and said good night.
The next night I took her into her room and again she laid down on the little mattress. She really wanted to sleep there so I thought we could give it another try. I expected her to fall off again but she didn't. In the morning I was waling down the hall to check on her and heard a little knock on her door. I opened the door and she walked out with a big smile on her face.
We then decided to pull out the toddler bed. So far so good. Naps are a little more interesting because she plays around her room before zonking out. We thought it was kind of silly how she was the one who decided it was time to be a big girl.

I love that she has her babydoll in a crib beside her! too cute!
That toddler bed looks very nice. So many are cheapy metal; I really like the wood.
Way to be a big girl, Lexi!
Way to be flexible Mom & Dad!
She looks very cute in her little bed!
Too funny! What a grown-up little lady in her big girl bed. Cute!
