I feel like I've been such a slacker at posting recently. I thought I'd get caught up real quick before I get behind again. We're planning on taking a nice long Christmas break so I'm sure it will be forever until I post about our Christmas. This is my last post of 2008.
Last Friday night right as Mark and I were thinking of going to bed Lexi woke up screaming. I went in to check on her and she had thrown up all over her bed. Ewww! I could tell you lots of fun detail but suffice it to say that she didn't fall asleep until about 4am right when Isaac woke up to eat. What a long night. However, I felt very grateful because I realized how healthy she has been. She's hardly ever been sick. I know that health is something that I really take fore granted.
Mark took Lexi out to play in the snow the other day and decided she needed a sled. It just so happened that we had had pizza that night and he used the pizza box as a sled. Lexi had a blast!
Saturday we had our ward Christmas party. I had been prepping Lexi for seeing Santa Claus all day. She was so excited right up until we got about 4 feet away from him. Then she had second thoughts. She stayed there long enough to get her bag of goodies and she was out of there. She liked Santa from a distance.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!!!

What is your e-mail address and I can e-mail you the recipe?
Even though Lexie was scared you still managed a picture? Good for you! I love the pizza box sled. My kids went out to play in the snow yesterday. It was fun to watch the three of them come up with fun ideas in the snow.
I love how the sled was improvised. Nothing like a little creativity to make a fun activity!
JLP had a tough time with Santa this year, as well. The treat bag was the only thing that got him close.
I loved your Christmas card and letter! (Even with Isaac photoshopped)
It really isn't fun when little ones get sick. I'm still traumatized from Ethan being sick last winter, that I hold my breath any time he looks like he might not be feeling well. So far this winter he hasn't gotten sick, so I'm hoping he can make it through the sick season. Ethan also didn't like sitting on santas lap...maybe next year...:)
