County Fair

Last Wednesday we took Lexi to the Fair. They had a deal for the first 3 days if you came to the fair at noon (or later) you could get a full refund on your way out if you left before 2pm. We decided to take advantage of that. It was really nice to get out of the apartment too. Lexi liked the goats. They came running up to her and stuck their heads through the fence. It was cute watching her pet them and give them hugs. She tried to be friendly to the geese but she got bit. Ouch. She didn't like that very much. She got right up in the cow's faces while they were eating. She loves animals.

We walked by lots of booths and Lexi was given a balloon. She was so excited. When we left the building she was on Mark's shoulders and we walked under a pine tree. The balloon popped. I was so sad for her I almost cried, really. She just looked and it and made a sad face then she was ok. Before we left we had to stop at the carousel. Lexi was so anxious to ride on it. I think it was her favorite part of the fair.

We had so much fun on Wednesday we decided to go again Friday. This time we were also able to go to a magic show and a dog show. They were pretty entertaining. We sat Lexi on a few different tractors. She thought they were pretty cool but she couldn't get them to move. We had to end this fair visit with another ride on the carousel.
